I was part of the pilot office for TIERS. So I know how to work in TIERS and SAVER. TIERS SUCKS, and thats putting it lightly. Everyday is a challenge for the worker. I make a whopping 2500. month and thats before taxes, health ins, and retirement. HHSC is now doing budget cuts and we will not be getting raises or bonus's for 2 years. It so beyond me how such idiots can continue to roll this system out, and cut budgets and save money all the same time. TIERS has been crawling since 9am this morning. I have been able to dispose 1 case. On a normal day I can knock out 14 cases no problem. Oh BTW they saved the BIG cities for last Houston is set to roll out in June. They are such idiots. Just glancing over policy I can name hundreds of ways for HHSC to save money thier not interested. While they are out on family vacations in other countries celebrating thier big win, we're stuck here dealing with the BS. Billions of dollars later TIERS litterally has workers in TEARS! They are more interested in what the developers of the system think because the developers are the ones working TIERS and certifying clients LMAOAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25606055.post-44939666474636572952008-02-24T01:28:00.000-06:002008-02-24T01:28:00.000-06:00Yes, I left out one critical point...it can be don...Yes, I left out one critical point...it can be done in SAVERR. The office has over 140,000 clients, not fully staffed, and of the staff there the tenure is less than 2 years.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25606055.post-51625628959758924622008-02-23T14:42:00.000-06:002008-02-23T14:42:00.000-06:00If I may- how many clients does that office see ea...If I may- how many clients does that office see each day? Is the office fully staffed? What is the tenure of those staff?

Yes, it absolutely can be done. But I know the pilot offices that are 100% TIERS are not able to do it. I know that offices that are SAVERR are able to do it- but it's not easy- especially with so many TIERS expedites and TP40's. There are MANY factors that can make it "possible". I'm not on this blog to talk about those offices- I'm talking about those offices that are literally DROWNING in work. Here's what is interesting- in some offices that are "doing it"- they are finding they are being pulled from to help with the mess in Austin. We have lost workers to Austin, as have many other offices. So what does that do the office that they leave?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25606055.post-37224480821426941152008-02-23T10:23:00.000-06:002008-02-23T10:23:00.000-06:00I have been working for HHSC for over 17 years. I know how bad things are for some offices, but there's at least one office that performs telephone interviews for all clients, exceeds timeliness standards every month, and provides excellent customer service. It can be done.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25606055.post-12310932651362942112008-02-11T02:30:00.000-06:002008-02-11T02:30:00.000-06:00I believe they post them and have you apply. I do...I believe they post them and have you apply. I don't know. In my local office, workers applied for Worker III jobs. You should be able to ask your supervisor. If not, submit a question through the Q & A.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25606055.post-44871230241336303732008-02-06T23:13:00.000-06:002008-02-06T23:13:00.000-06:00I have been working for hhsc for 2 yrs and 4 mths,...I have been working for hhsc for 2 yrs and 4 mths, where can I find policies on promoting to a TWAII and if there is a pay raise involved.
