rumor has it

Rumor is that the Pilot Area local office workers are having to see almost 30 appointments per day.

Can anyone confirm?

How many appointments are being seen in YOUR local office?

Burning out tenured workers to save timeliness is going to backfire.

in Alice we see three applications per day, 12 to 14 reviews, at least one or two expedites plus medicaid and tanf apps and renewals. Probably going to go to four apps a day as we are scheduling into july right now.

is there any end to the madness?

I don't know what it takes, but temps, right now, are not the answer.
I saw one yesterday looking at other job postings. (cps).

Why get in the door with us and them move to cps?

Anybody else running in to that?

Down South, my office we see 2 apps every day, but or lead time is 07/07/06. 2 days shy of 30 days as of today, talk about delinquent cases. Expi we get one every other day. my unit we are equalizing or reviews and are avg about 80 Cat 09 a month. I do 6 to 8 reviews a day. resent appointment i do phone interview on saturdays.

Yeah, giving us "refresher training" on FS timeliness doesn't help either! Now we have to take time away from working cases to do the d*** CBT - We already know the time frames! We just don't have the manpower to meet them!

And yes, all the "temps" are looking for other jobs. Can you blame them? After all, it's a "temp" job. Who wouldn't want to find something permanent!?! Almost every temp we have hired has gone on to "greener pastures".

Roll out offices ar not the only ones suffering! Even offices across the state from the roll out area are having a difficult time. We've lost alot of good, reliabl workers because of this plan. All the temps continue to seek other m themm? After all, these are "temp" job!

I talked to a friend last night. (6/24/06) He works at an Austin local office. He sees 17 appointments a day. Can you believe that? I would be looney already.
