An employee of the "Food Stamp" office in Texas .... writing about the system that is crumbling from the inside and the outside, all in the name of Politics. **I'm writing this as a private citizen of the State of Texas--I do not claim to represent the opinions of HHSC**

Being in a position where working on Saturdays doesn't get you ahead, but rather just keeps you from sinking a little further really blows.
Sorry.
I heard a rumor that they will be posting worker jobs as Worker I, II, and III's so that some of those who left and went to CPS but want to come back can apply and not be temp, and not take a paycut.
That would be awesome.
I've got a great link that details all the failures of Accenture on my blogpace.....
You can also link to it here:

Accenture created a web site and a document. Not really a huge task considering document publishing and web publishing have become so simplified today that almost anyone can be tought very quickly these tasks. Accenture most likely made not only and huge profit but got what I call an easy score hear. Sadly they are able to play this up as some sort of huge accomplishment. Have any high school student create a web page or document as a project.
I'm in a county set to rollout to TIERS. The local office is severly understaffed, and we are being told that we have to get the leadtime down to "zero" no matter what it takes.
How in the world can anyone logically have such expectations?
